CHARLES L. (CHUCK) ORVIS 1951 - 2007 Chuck Orvis lost a courageous battle to cancer with his family by his side on Monday, January 8, 2007 at the age of 55 years. Chuck was born in Selkirk and raised in Winnipeg, MB. He was proud to be an Ironworker, Local 725 and an Operating Engineer, Local 955. Chuck lived and worked in all four Western provinces. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 275 for 26 years. Chuck will be lovingly remembered by his wife Anna; their two sons, Jeremy (Marina) and Clinton; one grandson Connor; and also Bear . He is predeceased by his mother and father-in-law, Taisa and Petro Ilyniak; nephew Ricki Pawliw; and father Charlie Orville. Chuck will be greatly missed by his family and friends in Calgary, Vancouver, Regina and Winnipeg. The family would like to thank the staff at Southwood Hospice for all their tender care. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home (4477 Main Street) on Monday, January 15, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.
